Meet Dean Harrison, Your Yacht Chef Instructor
Hey, I’m Dean Harrison, an Australian chef who’s spent the last 13 years cooking for billionaires, celebrities, and crews on some of the world’s most luxurious yachts.
My journey started in 2004, when I was a rebellious 15-year-old who couldn’t stand school but loved being in the kitchen. My first job was as a dishwasher and prep cook, chopping parsley for hours while the chefs laughed from the back steps. It wasn’t glamorous...but it taught me grit, discipline, and a love for the chaos of the kitchen.
After years of working my way up through fine dining restaurants, resorts, and cafes, I discovered yachting and it completely changed my life. Over the last 14 years, I’ve cooked everywhere from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean, Asia, and the South Pacific. I’ve worked on dive boats, private islands, and superyachts that travel to places most people will never see.
Yachting gave me freedom — financial, personal, and creative. But it also came with challenges that no one warns you about. That’s why I created this course: to share everything I wish I knew before I started. From getting your first job and managing demanding guests to building a long-term career that funds the life you want, this is the roadmap I wish I had when I began.
Now, my goal is simple, to help you break into this dream lifestyle the smart way, without wasting time or money on the wrong path.
This is everything I wish someone had told me before I started
I want to share all the secrets to break into the yacht chef lifestyle. See my course outline below!
